The biggest challenge of a 3-day detox diet is food craving. To address that, make sure that your major meals are heavy vegetable meals. Eat grilled carrots, baked potatoes, and steamed lettuce until your stomach is full. Take a big banana for dessert and a fresh fruit juice to seal your detox meal with. If you crave for snacks, eat an apple or a pear. Do this for three straight days and you will definitely feel the program’s cleansing effect.
Never eat anything that can’t be considered either a fruit or a vegetable. You shouldn’t go for processed variants either. Buy fresh fruits and vegetables only. Whenever you have the urge to drink a soda or eat some cookie, brush your teeth and rinse with a mouthwash. The craving should go with the disinfected taste of your mouth.
When you prepare vegetables, be sure that you don’t put oil or seasonings to it. Your food may taste bland, but that’s part of it.
